Current law limits the medical cannabis program to two medical cannabis manufacturers. The Minnesota Department of Health has registered two medical cannabis manufacturers: Vireo Health of Minnesota and Leafline Labs. Minnesota’s medical cannabis manufacturers are required to grow, process, and distribute medical cannabis to program participants.
Adult Use Marijuana in MN
On May 29th, 2023 Minnesota became the 23rd state to legalize Adult Use cannabis. Dispensaries will be selling recreational cannabis in 12-18 months. The Office of Cannabis Management will oversee the adult use program in Minnesota. There are 12 different business licenses a person can apply for in the recreational market.
Minnesota does not have restrictions on Seed to Sale software.
