Responsible Vendor Training (RVT) is mandatory in Massachusetts for cannabis business employees. RVT programs are operated by education providers accredited by the Commission to provide an annual minimum of four hours of required training to Agents. All Agents involved in the handling and sale of Marijuana need to successfully complete a RVT Program to be designated a “Responsible Vendor”. Agent must receive four hours of ongoing training annually. The training must include at least four hours of active in-class or online instruction time by a Commission-certified Responsible Vendor Trainer.” Participants must pass a written test with a score of 70% or better.
