Who Oversees the Connecticut Adult Use Program?

The Connecticut Medical Marijuana Program (MMP) Is currently enacting Rules to ensure the implementation of Adult Use sales is swift, diligent, and safe. The Department will issue Adult Use Licenses in 2022 along with social equity licenses that will fund communities disproportionately impacted by “the war on drugs”. If you are considering starting a business, the Department of Consumer Protection will release applications within a few months, pending further directives from the Social Equity Council. Please be aware that there are also very specific advertising guidelines for businesses who intent to participate in the retail sale of cannabis.
