Description
These Standard Operating Procedures are written specifically to address Mississippi Processing state rules and regulations for licensed cannabis businesses including but not limited to: Hiring Procedures, Transportation procedures, Inventory procedures, Labeling procedures, Non-laboratory quality control procedures, Security procedures, Waste Management procedures.
On November 12, 2020, initiative 65 was approved by Mississippi voters. The initiative established a constitutional amendment for the use of medical marijuana. However, in 2021 the initiative was invalidated by the Mississippi Supreme Court.
The Mississippi State Department of Health has stopped development of the Mississippi Medical Marijuana Program.
The Mississippi Medical Marijuana Draft is currently being revisited. It will authorize additional regulations including the use of a State mandated seed to sale tracking system and stringent sales restrictions.
